Market Rules

Ernesto Araújo took office as Brazil's Secretary of Foreign Affairs on January 1, 2019. If he leaves such position by July 1st, 2021, this market will be resolved as "Yes".

The criteria to resolve this market as "Yes" will be the official announcement of Ernesto Araújo's permanent release from the duties related to that office. Such announcement must be made or confirmed either by the minister himself, Brazil's President, or the presidential spokesperson.

If Ernesto Araújo is only temporarily released from duty, only to be readmitted into office shortly after that, this market will remain open.
