Will another French PM be appointed by the end of 2026?

Market Rules

This event predicts whether a new individual will be officially appointed as Prime Minister of France at any time between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 (inclusive). For this market, appointment means a formal presidential appointment recorded in the Journal Officiel de la République Française (JORF). The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be the JORF or official presidential announcements.

If a new Prime Minister of France is officially appointed during this period, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". Temporary delegations of duties or acting arrangements will not count. If official publications are delayed or ambiguous, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from major French news organizations. Resolution will reflect the substantive appointment of a new Prime Minister, not interim arrangements. If a definitive determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel this market with a public explanation.
