Nasdaq circuit breaker in 2026?

Market Rules

This event predicts whether a market-wide circuit breaker will be triggered on the Nasdaq Stock Market at any time between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 (inclusive). The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official Nasdaq announcements or SEC notices confirming a market-wide circuit breaker halt.

If Nasdaq triggers at least one market-wide circuit breaker during this period, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". Security-specific halts or interruptions unrelated to market-wide thresholds will not count. If official notices are unclear, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from major international financial news organizations. Resolution will reflect the substantive triggering of a market-wide circuit breaker, not isolated halts. If a definitive determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel this market with a public explanation.
