SpaceX to spin off Starlink in 2026?

Market Rules

This event predicts whether SpaceX will announce a corporate spin-off separating Starlink into an independent company at any time between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 (inclusive). The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official announcements or filings by SpaceX confirming the spin-off.

If SpaceX officially announces a spin-off of Starlink during this period, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". Partial restructurings or internal reorganizations that do not create an independent Starlink entity may require intent-based assessment by Futuur. If official announcements are unclear, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from major aerospace or business news organizations. Resolution will reflect the substantive announcement of a spin-off, not speculation. If a definitive determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel this market with a public explanation.
