Market Rules

This event predicts which publicly listed company will have the highest global market capitalization as of December 31, 2026. The Primary Designated Source (PDS) is CompaniesMarketCap, using its compiled market capitalization figures based on official prices. Market capitalization will be determined using the official closing price on the last trading day of 2026, unless CompaniesMarketCap explicitly uses real-time pricing at 23:59 UTC-3 for its year-end ranking.

If CompaniesMarketCap data is unavailable, delayed, or ambiguous, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will be a clear and consistent consensus reported by reputable financial information services or major news organizations. For companies with multiple listings, their combined global market capitalization across exchanges will be considered. These markets will be resolved according to the substantive outcome—the company with the highest qualifying market capitalization—rather than minor technicalities of presentation or timing. Private or delisted companies are excluded. If no fair determination is possible, Futuur may cancel the markets with a public explanation.
