This market will be resolved based on the country where the next Pope of the Catholic Church - the one who follows Pope Francis in the position after he leaves it for any reason - was born. The place of birth takes precedence over nationality in this market, even if the individual renounces his original nationality.

For the sole effect of resolving this market accurately, the following countries will be considered part of the Middle East/Asia Minor: Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel/Palestine, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Yemen.

Futuur reserves the right to adjust this market's deadline for receiving bets as it pleases, to make sure it remains open until a date that is closer to the choice of the next Pope.
