Will Senators Warnock and Ossoff take part in Trump’s impeachment vote?
Market Rules
Once the House Judiciary Committe closes an impeachment inquiry, the House of Representatives is able impeach a president — which is similar to an indictment — by a simple majority vote. Then, after a trial in the Senate, if two-thirds of the upper chamber to vote to convict the president, the president can be removed from office.
If the US Senate gets to judge articles of impeachment against Donald Trump after elected Georgia Senators Raphael Warnock and John Ossoff are sworn in as members of Congress, this market will be resolved as "Yes".
