In April 2021, a rare crisis in Jordan’s royal family emerged to the public. Accounts of a plot to overthrow Jordan’s head of state King Abdullah II, involving crown prince Hamzah, came to light and led to King Abdullah II’s official statement that the sedition was neutralized.
If Abdullah II still holds office as the King of Jordan through December 31st, 2021, this market will be resolved as “Yes”.
