Will new elections be called in Israel by the end of June?
Market Rules
Recent conflicts between Palestinians and Israeli forces had an impact on Israeli political alliances, shifted the relationships between some party leaders, and raised concerns over big political implications. If Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid is not able to form government by June 2nd, for example, that might lead to a fifth election in the country within a little over two years.
If new elections for the Israeli Knesset are called by June 30, 2021, this market will be resolved as “Yes”. The elections do not need to take place by June 30, for the market to be resolved as "Yes", as long as they are officially called by the government by that deadline.
