Who will be elected President of Brazil in 2022?
Market Rules
The winning outcome in this market will be the one that contains the name of the candidate who is declared elected by the Electoral Court of Brazil for the job of President of Brazil, in the general elections of 2022, for the term that begins in January 2023.
If the elections are postponed for any reason, this market will be adjusted accordingly, to reflect the new timeline for determining the next president of Brazil.
Futuur may decide to resolve this market at any point after October 6, 2022, when it considers the official election results, concession speeches and eventual legal actions taken by parties have finally made clear who the upcoming president of Brazil is.
As new candidates enter the race, Futuur may add them to this market as new alternatives for users to bet on.

- deagol: @Futuur @tom The frantic activity in this market gives some revealing peeks into the flawed behavior of the AMM. Despite the $20k liquidity pool, a bet of just $50 (0.25% of the pool) is able to significantly move the price (by 10-20%), and I just saw a bet near $2k (just 10% of the liquidity pool) completely dominate it which sent the price to .99. This should not happen with a $20k liquidity pool. In addition, during very active periods I’ve seen transactions go through at a different price than the one quoted on the confirmation window, which tells me there’s still concurrency issues.
- mxo: deagol I think the “Volume” (that’s the only value related to liquidity I can see) denotes the total value of shares bought&sold, not the liquidity pool depth. But yes, while this is the most liquid market I have seen on futuur, it’s not very liquid (consequently I trust the Polymarket one much more to give accurate predictions). Generally, I am not sure whether having 100s of illiquid markets is really a great strategy for this site….as a user it’s kinda picking up pennies, so I usually spend like all of 30 seconds before investing 5 bucks into something (because investing more will just move the market to 100%). It’s fun, but the ROI of spending time here is bad.
