Will the Brazilian 2022/23 corn crop break the record of 2021/22?
Market Rules
Brazil had a record year when it comes to its 2021/22 corn crop, estimated in nearly 112,343 thousand tons of grains. Brazil is currently the biggest world producer and exporter of soybeans, and, as the global pandemic of Covid-19 makes international feeding needs more evident, the country might consolidate that role.
If the corn crop production of the Brazilian National cycle of 2022/23 (1st and 2nd crops) exceeds 112,343 thousand tons of grains, this market will be resolved as “Yes”. This market will be resolved according to the updated historical series of grains production published by Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento (Conab).
