On April 11th, 2022, Shehbaz Sharif was elected Prime Minister of Pakistan, after Imran Khan was ousted from office by a parliamentary vote of no confidence. Since Pakistan became independent in 1947, no prime minister has ever completed the regular five-year term in office.
If Shehbaz Sharif sits through the whole duration of the regular five-year Prime Minister term that began on April 11th, 2022, this market will resolve to “Yes”.
