Which political party will have the largest growth (in the number of seats) in Brazil's Senate after the 2022 elections?
Market Rules
The 2022 Brazilian parliamentary election will take place in one round, scheduled for October 2nd. On that occasion, a third of the country's Federal Senate (27 senators) and the whole House of Deputies (513 federal deputies) will be renewed.
This market will resolve in favor of the outcome containing the political party that presents the largest growth (in the absolute number of seats held) in Brazil's Federal Senate as a result of the Brazilian election, in comparison to the number of seats it held before the election. This result does not necessarily match the party that holds the absolute largest number of seats in the Senate after the election, but the one whose number increased the most.
This result considers only the number of seats attributed at the time the election results are announced, and will not be reviewed in cases of challenges to the results or further cancellations, party migrations, or withdrawals that take place between the release of the election results and the swearing-in ceremony.
For resolving this market, Futuur will take into account only the parties that already held at least one seat in this Senate before elections took place.
