After Andrew Cuomo announced his resignation from the office of governor of New York, lieutenant governor Kathy Hochul stepped in to serve as governor through the end of 2022 and was reelected for that office for the tenure of 2023-2026.

If Kathy Hochul does not leave office as governor of New York until the end of her term (starting in 2023 and ending in 2026), this market will be resolved as "Yes".
