Netflix does not share the performance numbers for the content in its platform, such as the number of accesses. Without these numbers it is not possible to calculate an exact value for royalties that could be owed to actors and writers. The demand for these numbers is one of the main reasons for the union strikes that began in the US in 2023.
If by the end of 2023 Netflix agrees to change its policy on data sharing and begin to disclose the data demanded by actors and screenwriters' unions for the calculation of residual royaties, this market will resolve to "Yes".
