Abiy Ahmed still prime minister of Ethiopia through the end of 2025?
Market Rules
Abiy Ahmed has served since 2018 as Ethiopia's prime minister. After being awarded the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to consolidate peace terms after the Eritrea-Ethiopia War stalemate, Ahmed conducted a civil war against the insurrection forces of Tigray and was sworn in for a new five-year term as prime minister in 2021.
If Abiy Ahmed remains in office as Prime Minister of Ethiopia through December 31, 2025, this market will resolve to "Yes".
Temporary absences due to health or other reasons will not affect the market resolution as long as Ahmed officially retains the position of Prime Minister.
