Will Apple announce a foldable iPhone in 2026?
Market Rules
This market will resolve based on whether Apple Inc. officially announces the launch of a foldable iPhone during the Market Period, defined as January 1, 2026, 00:00:00 UTC through December 31, 2026, 23:59:59 UTC. Primary Designated Source (PDS): Apple Inc.’s official announcements, including press releases and event livestreams published via the Apple Newsroom or other official Apple communication channels. Apple traditionally announces new iPhone models during its dedicated September event, but any official Apple event in 2026 that takes place before the traditional iPhone-dedicated event is valid for this market.
Early resolution clause: If Apple holds any iPhone event between September and December 2026 that does not include the launch of a foldable iPhone, this market may resolve to "No" at the conclusion of that event, without waiting until December 31, 2026. If Apple does announce the launch of a foldable iPhone at any point during the Market Period, the market will resolve to "Yes" immediately. Futuur will ensure resolution reflects the substantive event rather than minor technicalities of the announcement format. If no clear determination is possible, the market may be cancelled with all wagers refunded.
