Will Google confirm the development of a cryptoasset in 2026?

This event predicts whether Google will officially confirm that it is developing its own cryptoasset at any time between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 (inclusive). The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official statements or announcements by Google confirming the development of a cryptoasset.
If Google officially confirms during this period that it is developing a cryptoasset, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". Cryptoasset development solely by Google-owned subsidiaries will only count if it is explicitly presented as part of Google’s core business. If official announcements are unclear, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from major technology news organizations. Resolution will reflect substantive confirmation of development, not rumors or speculation. If a definitive determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel this market with a public explanation.
