Will any sentence condemning former President Lula be overturned by the Supreme Court in 2019?

Market Rules

The Brazilian Supreme Court is due to adjudicate in 2019 a series of cases whose outcome of the judgments could open the possibility that many judgments concerning the Lava Jato operation could be overturned. Former President Lula is included among the many possible beneficiaries on this issue.

If by December 31, 2019 any of the cases in which former President Lula was convicted is annulled as a result of an STF ruling, that question will be resolved as “Yes”.
