Will the auction of 5G networks in Brazil take place by the end of 2020?

5G internet is already being implemented in some European countries and cities in the United States. in Brazil, however some technical difficulties - such as the new network's interference with the transmission of satellite dishes that currently transmit TV signals in Brazil - have so far delayed the implementation of 5G.

The first auction of networks for the distribution of 5G internet by phone carriers in Brazil was initially scheduled for March 2020. However, the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) updated its goal for the auction to take place in the second half of 2020, while Marcos Pontes (Minister of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications of Brazil) admited that the event can be postponed yet again, for a date in 2021.

If the forst auction of 5G networks for phone carriers in Brazil happens by the end of 2020, this market will be resolved as "yes".
