President-elect Joe Biden pledged in the run-up to the 2020 presidential election that he intended to boost the federal minimum wage to $15 (USD) per hour. In addition to the possibility of signing an executive order to raise the minimum wage for workers on federal contracts, Joe Biden might attempt to renew the “Raise The Wage Act”, but such proposal would require congressional approval.
If by December 31, 2024, Joe Biden attempts to raise the minimum wage to $15 (USD) per hour by sending a bill to the of the House of Representatives or the Senate, this market will be resolved as "Yes". It is irrelevant to this market whether such bill is approved or rejected in the House or Senate.
