Will the Brazilian Senate approve the law that criminalizes those who cut the line for vaccination by the end of June?
Market Rules
Since the beginning of the vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 in Brazil, there are numerous complaints from people who would have circumvented the vaccination, skipping the queue. In light of these events, Brazil's House of Representatives approved on February 11 a bill that makes it a crime to cut the line of immunization, providing for a penalty of up to three years in prison for the offender. However, to become law, the proposal must still be approved by the Senate, where there is still no date for voting the bill.
Currently, penalties for those who skip the line are not provided for in the Brazilian Penal Code.
If by the end of June 2021 the Brazilian Senate approves the bill that criminalizes the act of cutting the line of vaccination, this market will be resolved as "Yes".
