Will Brazil's Supreme Court full session revoke the annulment of Lula's sentences in 2021?
Market Rules
In early March 2021, Brazil's Supreme Court justice Edson Fachin annulled all the condemnations imposed by the Federal Justice of Paraná on former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in "Operation Car Wash". Brazil's Attorney General's Office (PGR) appealed against justice Edson Fachin's decision, and the case may be analyzed either by the full Court or by the 2nd Panel of the Court.
If by the end of 2021, Brazil's Supreme Court (STF) judges in favor of the appeal presented by the Attorney General's Office, hence nullifying the decision of Minister Edson Fachin and sustaining the existing condemnations against former president Lula, this market will be resolved as "Yes".
