Will Andrew Cuomo remain in office as Governor of New York through the end of 2021?
Market Rules
Andew Cuomo was elected in 2018 to serve a 4-year term as governor of the state of New York. In early March 2021, however, a series of accusations of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior against Mr. Cuomo led to rumors about a possible resignation, including pressure from some of the Democratic Party's top members.
If Andrew Cuomo still holds the office of governor of New York through December 31, 2021, this market will be resolved as "Yes". Otherwise, if he leaves the office - be it through a resignation letter, an impeachment process, or any other legal procedure - this market will be resolved as "No".
