In April 2021, at the Summit of Leaders on Climate (a virtual meeting of 40 countries promoted by American President Joe Biden to raise environmental commitments), the President of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, was pressured to reduce deforestation in the Amazon rainforest. He then pledged to double the monetary resources for actions to suppress deforestation. Less than a day after the pledge, however, his administration took 240 million Brazilian Reais (BRL) off the total budget of the Ministry of the Environment for 2021, reducing it to 2 billion reais.

If the total budget for Brazi's Ministry of Environment in 2022 is greater than 2 billion Brazilian Reais (BRL), this market will be resolved as "Yes".
