The US is the world’s largest producer and exporter of corn, and the international food necessities caused by the COVID-19 pandemic might increase the demand for this commodity.
If the corn crop from the US agricultural calendar of 2021/22 surpasses 15.2 billion bushels - i.e. the initial forecast made by the Agricultural Outlook Forum from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) - this market will be resolved as “Yes”.
This market will be resolved based on the production data available in the Crop Production Annual Summary for 2021/22, as published by the National Agricultural Statistics Service at https://usda.library.cornell.edu/concern/publications/k3569432s?locale=en.
