Market Rules

Carlos Alberto França took office as Brazil's Secretary of Foreign Affairs in March 2021. If he leaves such position by December 31, 2021, this market will be resolved as "Yes".

The criteria to resolve this market as "Yes" will be the official announcement of Carlos Alberto França's permanent release from the duties related to that office. Such announcement must be made or confirmed either by the secretary himself, Brazil's President, or the presidential spokesperson.

If Carlos Alberto França is only temporarily released from duty, only to be readmitted into office shortly after that, this market will remain open.
