Will the Versamune vaccine be cleared for use by Anvisa by the end of 2022?
Market Rules
In April 2021, the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto at the University of São Paulo (Brazil) asked Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) for authorization to begin testing Versamune (the faculty's vaccine candidate against Covid-19) in humans. If the immunizer is approved after all phases of testing are finished, Brazil could become less dependent on the import of ready-made doses or supply components for manufacturing vaccines, potentially speeding up and cheapening the immunization process.
If Versamube is approved by Anvisa by the end of 2022 for use in the Brazilian population - regardless of whether it receives clearance for emergency use only or full approval - this market will resolve to "Yes".
