Will Starlink declare that it had satellites compromised by the Chinese government by the end of 2023?
Market Rules
A study published in May and led by a researcher of the Beijing Institute of Tracking and Telecommunications, under the People’s Liberation Army’s Strategic Support Force, stated that China should be capable to disable or destroy Starlink’s satellite communication project if it threatens national security.
If by December 31st, 2023, Starlink declares through official channels that one or more of its satellites were either damaged, destroyed, or rendered useless due to the intervention of technology of the Chinese state, this market will resolve to “Yes”.
