Will Apple announce a foldable iPad before May 2024?
Market Rules
According to a statement by analysis firm CCS Insight in mid-2022, Apple could be set to launch a foldable iPad within 2 years’ time. The choice for the release of a foldable iPad instead of an iPhone supposedly would avoid risks such as an eventual increase of prices in the iPhone line of products and possible backlash of critics in the event of technical issues being observed with the new technology.
Apple usually announces new products in events taking place yearly in the Springtime of the Northern Hemisphere and in October/November. If by April 30th, 2024, Apple announces the release of a foldable iPad, this market will resolve to “Yes”. The product must be announced in one of Apple’s events or in official press releases, but it does not need to be commercially released by the referred date in order to fulfill this condition to resolve this market as "Yes".
