Market Rules

Eddie Yongming Wu was announced as the successor of Daniel Zhang as chief-executive officer (CEO) of the Alibaba Group, starting on September 10th, 2023. Wu is one of the cofounders of the company, which undergoes a restructuration into six business groups.

If Eddie Wu still holds office as CEO of the Alibaba Group through December 31st, 2024, this market will resolve to “Yes”.

In case either Eddie Wu himself or an official spokesperson of Alibaba Group announces Eddie Wu's departure from the office of CEO by December 31st, 2024, this market will resolve to "Yes" at the moment of the announcement, with no need to wait until the effective departure of Wu from the job.
