What will be the decision of COPOM (Brazil's Comitê Nacional de Política Monetária) in its upcoming meeting regarding the next target for the country's basic interest rate?

This data is scheduled to be released by COPOM as part of its Meeting Statement on December 10 and 11, 2024.

If any extraordinary meeting of COPOM takes place in between November 7 or December 9, 2024, the decision from the extraordinary meeting will become the reference for resolving this market.

If COPOM is replaced or renamed, the market will resolve based on the decision of the equivalent monetary policy-making body in Brazil.
