Hibatullah Akhundzada has held office as Taliban’s Supreme Commander or Emir since 2016. If he continues to hold that office through December 31, 2025, this market will resolve to “Yes”.

Temporary absences due to health or other reasons will not affect the market resolution as long as Akhundzada officially retains the position of Supreme Commander.
