Will Artificial wombs for premature babies be tested in humans by the end of 2026?
Market Rules
Scientists and designers are developing the first fluid-filled artificial womb for extremely premature babies, inside which they would continue to receive oxygen and nutrients through the umbilical cord shortly after birth.
If by the end of 2026, an artificial womb is tested in at least one human baby of up to 22 weeks, this market will resolve to "Yes".
