Constitution Amendment (PEC) granting Brazil's Central Bank financial autonomy to pass in 2025?
Market Rules
If the budgetary and financial autonomy of Brazil's Central Bank — part of the bill of Constitution amendment 65 of 2023 (PEC 65/23), on the Central Bank's legal regime — passes in Brazil's National Congress before the beginning of the parliamentary recess of December 2025 this market will resolve to "Yes".
If PEC 65/13 does not pass in the referred period — or if it passes without the determination of the Central Bank's financial and budgetary autonomies — this market will resolve to “No”.
If only some aspects of the proposed autonomy are approved, Futuur will use its discretion to determine whether this constitutes a 'Yes' resolution, based on the extent of the approved autonomy.
