Will TikTok either be acquired or merged in the US by June 20?

This market predicts whether TikTok's US operations will have a confirmed acquisition or merger agreement by June 20, 2025.
The market will resolve to "Yes" if an official announcement by June 20, 2025 (23:59 UTC-3) confirms either:
- An acquisition giving another entity a controlling or majority ownership stake in TikTok's US operations
- A merger combining TikTok's US operations with another company into a new or existing entity with shared ownership or control
A formal announcement of such a transaction will be sufficient to resolve the market, to "Yes", regardless of whether the transaction is completed or not by June 20.
If no announcement occurs, or announcements are only speculative/incomplete by the deadline, the market will resolve to "No".
The announcement must come from TikTok, ByteDance, the acquiring entity, or relevant authorities. Media reports can support confirmation, but official statements take precedence.
