Will Karim Benzema return to Real Madrid in the summer of 2026?
Market Rules
This market will resolve based on whether Karim Benzema is officially registered again as a player of Real Madrid CF during the 2026 summer transfer window. The Primary Designated Source (PDS) is Real Madrid CF and the relevant Spanish football authorities (La Liga and/or the Royal Spanish Football Federation – RFEF), via their official websites, registration lists, and press releases, confirming Benzema as a registered Real Madrid player. For this market, the Market Period runs from June 1, 2026, 00:00:00 UTC through September 1, 2026, inclusive, covering the summer 2026 registration periods. The market period may be adjusted if the Spanish summer transfer window is modified.
If, within the Market Period, Real Madrid and the Spanish authorities formally list Karim Benzema as a registered Real Madrid player under any contract type (permanent transfer or loan), this market will resolve to "Yes", even if the agreement was signed earlier but takes effect during this period. If no such official registration is completed and in force by the end of the Spanish summer transfer window, this market will resolve to "No". If the PDS is significantly delayed, unavailable, or ambiguous, Futuur will apply a Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) using clear consensus from major, independent sports news organizations (such as ESPN, BBC Sport, Sky Sports, or Marca) about whether Benzema has rejoined Real Madrid. The market will be resolved according to the substantive reality of Benzema being officially registered as a Real Madrid player, not minor technicalities in announcement formats or transient reporting errors, and Futuur may cancel the market if no fair and definitive resolution is possible.
