William Ruto still in office as Kenya’s president through the end of 2026?
Market Rules
This event predicts whether William Ruto will remain in office as President of Kenya through December 31, 2026. The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official Kenyan government communications confirming the status of the presidency, including official gazette notices or statements from the Office of the President.
If William Ruto officially remains President of Kenya through the end of December 31, 2026, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". Temporary absences from office, such as medical leave or travel, will not affect resolution as long as he officially retains the presidency. If official information is unclear, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from major Kenyan or international news organizations. Resolution will reflect the substantive holding of the office, not temporary or technical interruptions. If a definitive determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel this market with a public explanation.
