Tether market cap > $250B at any point in 2026?
Market Rules
This event predicts whether Tether’s (USDT) total market capitalization will surpass USD 250 billion at any point between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 (inclusive). The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be market capitalization data published by CoinGecko.
If CoinGecko data shows that USDT’s market capitalization surpassed USD 250 billion at any point during this period, the market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If Tether undergoes significant structural changes (such as redenomination or supply restructuring), Futuur will use its discretion to determine the most comparable figure. If CoinGecko data is unavailable, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent data from other reputable cryptocurrency data providers. Resolution will reflect the substantive market capitalization level, not reporting artifacts. If a definitive determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel the market with a public explanation.
