Who will die in Avengers: Doomsday?
Market Rules
Each market in this set resolves to "Yes" if the specified character dies during the official film "Avengers: Doomsday", based on its initial theatrical release (including post-credits scenes), scheduled to premiere on December 18, 2026. Markets resolve independently — any number of characters can die, so more than one market can resolve to "Yes".
A qualifying death must show the character dead on screen, or the death must otherwise be clearly stated within the film to have occurred, even if offscreen (for example, characters confirming the death in conversation, or the character’s funeral being depicted). The Primary Designated Source is the initial theatrical release of the official film "Avengers: Doomsday", scheduled to premiere on December 18, 2026.
A death that is later reversed through revival, resurrection, or reanimation occurring after the character has died still qualifies. Deaths occurring in any timeline or dimension depicted in the film count toward resolution. Flashback scenes showing the character alive before a death, as well as dream sequences, hallucinations, or visions of dead characters, will not affect resolution. If the film establishes that the character died before "Avengers: Doomsday" begins, that death will not count. If the character’s fate is deliberately left ambiguous, it will not qualify. Only deaths confirmed by the end of the film qualify; post-credits scenes count if they are part of the official film, but supplementary materials (podcasts, comics, books, or other media) do not count unless explicitly referenced within the film itself.
If no theatrical release occurs by January 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, all markets resolve "No".
