Male oral contraceptives available in the market by the end of 2024?
Market Rules
When the female pill was produced in the 1960s, women were able to control their fertility. But as society progresses, men tend to share responsibility, and that includes the burden of contraception. We have been waiting for a male pill for 50 years, but now there is a stronger indication that in the next few years a male oral contraceptive might become available in the market.
The birth control pill for men is under development and is already being tested in men. Tolerance and safety in the body have been proven without severe side effects, and, in 2019, studies were already verifying the effectiveness of the drug.
If by the end of 2024 a male oral contraceptive is on the market, this question will be resolved as 'Yes'.
