What will be the party of Ireland’s next Prime Minister?
Market Rules
Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar resigned on February 20th but stayed on as interim leader while three of the country's main parties battle out coalition talks. It is still unclear how long it may take until a new government is formed.
This question will remain open until March 31st, 220, or until the next vote in the Irish Dáil for the Prime Minister takes place (whichever comes first). In case of inconclusive results in the vote - or if no vote has happened until March 31st - this question will be reopened according to an eventual new voting schedule.
In the scenario in which de Dáil settles for a decision in which two or more people from different parties share the office of Taoiseach in the course of the next government (be it simultaneously or in a rotative system), this question will resolved as “Other”.
