Will the US leave the WTO by the end of 2020?

In the end of 2019, the US failed to appoint new judges for the World Trade Organization’s appellate body, thus freezing the settlement of trade disputes. For years, the country’s been showing its dissatisfaction with the results of some disputes, China’s status as a developing country, and other details of the organization.
In May of 2020, Republican Senator Josh Hawley wrote an op-ed for the New York Times asking for the withdrawal of the US from the World Trade Organization (WTO). Still, the US didn’t manifest the official intention of withdrawing from the WTO – yet
If by December 31st, 2020, the US formally withdraws from the Marrakesh Agreement – which gave birth to the WTO – this market will be resolved as “Yes”.
