Market Rules

The Russian government has announced the approval of a COVID-19 vaccine (August 11th, 2020) after only 2 months of humans trials; they are calling it Sputnik V. The phase III, the decisive phase that might really verify the vaccine's efficacy, has not been completed yet

It has been said that the Russian and the Brazilian governments are in talks to reach an agreement to bring the Sputnik V to Brazil for part of the phase III trials. But will ANVISA (Brazil's national health agency) authorize it, despite the lack of previously published results of phases I and II so far?

If, by September 30, 2020, ANVISA authorizes phase III of Sputnik V trials in Brazil this market will be resolved as "Yes".
