The office of Secretary of Defense of the United States has never been held by woman until now. Will Biden’s choice for the head of Department of Defense be a woman?
If a woman is announced by Biden as the new Secretary of Defense in the administration that is expected to begin on January 20, 2021, this market will be resolved as “Yes”.
The appointed woman has to be the first to fill the post in Biden's administration for this question to be resolved as “Yes”. The announcement does not need to be confirmed by the Senate for this market to be resolved as "Yes".
