UAE to successfully land Rashid rover to the moon by the end of 2024?
Market Rules
In 2020, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced plans to send a compact rover called Rashid to study the Moon in 2024. If Rashid is successful, the UAE could become the fourth country to operate a ship on the surface of the Moon, and the first in the Arab world.
Despite the country's experience with satellites and remote sensing instruments, a robotic mission would require new skills in building the rover's mechanical structure and its heating and communication systems.
If the United Arab Emirates manages to send the Rashid rover to the moon by the end of 2024, and the rover manages to successfully land on the surface of the moon, this market will be resolved as "yes".
