Will representative Daniel Silveira be removed from office in 2021?

Market Rules

In February 2021, the Ethics Council of Brazil's House of Representatives opened a process that could lead to the impeachment of federal representative Daniel Silveira (PSL). Earlier that month, Daniel was arrested, shortly after publishing a video in which he praised the dictatorship regime that ruled over Brazil in the 60s and 70s and offended Brazil's Supreme Court justices.

If by December 31st, 2021, Brazil's House of Representatives votes to permanently remove representative Daniel Silveira from office, this market will be resolved as "Yes".

If, before that, the disciplinary process that had been opened in February is closed, Futuur will resolve this market as "No" right after the process is closed.
