Market Rules

At the end of 2022, the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) showed that the average monthly income of men was 22% higher than the average monthly income of women in the country. In May 2023, IBGE plans on publishing the results of the decennial demographic Census.

If IBGE’s Demographic Census of 2022 shows that the gap between the average monthly work income of the occupied male and female population in Brazil is higher than 22.0% this market will resolve to “Yes”.

The Census’ preliminary sample results will not be taken into account for this market’s resolution.
