This prediction market aims to determine whether ChatGPT, an AI language model developed by OpenAI, will reach 1 billion unique users before or on December 31, 2023. The outcome will be determined based on an official announcement from OpenAI, or news reports from major news outlets that Futuur deems credible.

The market will resolve as 'Yes' if ChatGPT reaches 1 billion unique users at any point in 2023, and 'No' if it does not.

For this market, "unique users" refer to unique individuals who have used ChatGPT directly or indirectly through platforms, applications, or APIs built on top of the ChatGPT model.

If the actual milestone of ChatGPT reaching 1 billion users is reached before the end of 2023, but the announcement is made between January 1st and 15th, 2024, the market will resolve as 'Yes' as well.
