China’s foreign minister Qin Gang made the headlines as the shortest living official in that position, removed from office suddenly and disappearing from the public eye on July 11th, 2023. Wang Yi was reconducted by the Chinese Communist Party’s Politburo to the position on July 25th but Qin Gang was not again seen.
If the whereabouts of Qin Gang are publicly disclosed by June 30th, 2024, this market will resolve to “Yes”.
